– Steven Douglas Corp (SDC) announced the
“SDChassis” as a new standard automation
product (in November SDC announced the EP10 product,
a stand-alone small parts electropolishing machine).
The features and performance of the SDChassis puts
it on the leading edge of the CAM driven indexing
assembly chassis market. The SDChassis combines
the smoothness of CAM-Driven motion with the flexibility
of a Servo-driven indexing table.
The SDChassis has been on SDC's drawing board for
a couple of years, and with the companies vision
of capitalizing on its own innovation, the decision
was made to make the necessary investments to bring
the product to life. SDC can now offer their clients
a world-class high-speed automation chassis at a
better value than existing CAM driven chassis builders.
