Chardon, Ohio, May 21, 2004 – Steven Douglas Corp (SDC) released the below announcement.

The Vice President of Marketing from Keyence America, Machine Vision Division, along with three additional Keyence Marketing researchers visited SDC on May 20, 2004. The purpose of the visit was to discuss SDC's feedback on their machine vision products. SDC was chosen as a company to visit based on several unique applications of Keyence CV2100 Series High-speed vision systems used on recent projects.

While on site at SDC, the Keyence marketing team sought feedback specific to SDC's experience. Through the course of the discussions, SDC was able to describe why the Keyence systems were chosen over competing products, as well as offer product improvement suggestions.

Keyence is planning to release upgraded Machine Vision products to the US market in 2005.
