-Orients and singulates incoming parts.
-Identifies a key feature of the part
using a DVT High-Resolution Camera
with custom written vision program
to guide the robot to pick the part
- Transfers DVT image data to the
MotoMan UPJ-6 Robot allowing the Robot
to grip the part in a consistent location
regardles of orientation.
- Robotically load the part into the
custom engineered insertion assembly
fixture.
-The assembly fixture completes the
assembly and passes it to a down-stream
machine via an IA robotic linear slide. |

The entire cell is controlled by a
custom written PLC program that interfaces
with the machine HMI and the MotoMan
Robot Controller. |
